    Automatic three-phase circuit breakers VA51 and VA52

    VA51 andVA52 are two families of automatic circuit breakers that are designed for conducting current under normal conditions and for cutting it off in the event of a short circuit, an overload or an unacceptable voltage drop. In addition, it can be used for infrequent (up to 6 times per day) on and off switching of electric circuits. It is possible to use these circuit breakers for infrequent direct starts and for the protection of asynchronous motors.
      Notation conventions structure:

      VA 5X - XX - X X XX X X - XX XX

      VA 5X - series of circuit breakers: VA51 - average switching capacity circuit breakers; VA52 - extra switching capacity circuit breakers;

      "-" - separating character;

      XX - rated current: 35 - 250 A; 37 - 400 A; 39 - 630 A;

      "-" - separating character;
      X - number of poles and number of maximum-current release devices:
                3 - 3 poles with a maximum-current release device in each one;
                8 - 2 poles with maximum-current release devices in two poles, in triple-pole circuit breaker construction ;
      X - maximum-current release device construction, according to the protection zone:
                3 - release device in short-circuit current zone;
                4 - release device in short-circuit current and overload current zones;
      XX - construction according to auxiliary assembly units;
      X - drive type and circuit breaker mounting method:
               1 - hand drive, stationary construction;
               3 - electromagnetic drive, stationary construction;
               5 - remote hand drive, drawout construction;
               7 - electromagnetic drive, drawout construction;
      X - construction according to additional mechanisms:
               0 - no additional mechanisms;
               5 - remote hand drive for operating the stationary construction circuit breaker through the distribution device door;
               6 - "OFF" position blocking device for stationary construction circuit breakers with hand drive;
      "-" - separating character;
      XX - circuit breaker protection rate. according to GOST 14255-69: IP20, IP00;
      XX - climatic construction and placement category, according to GOST 15150-69 and GOST 15543-70: UHL3, UHL3.1; T3.
