Rack-operated jack
Rack-operated jack is designed for lifting different loads during
building and construction works and during the repair of rail facilities and carriages.
These jacks have a load-lifting head in their upper region and a claw in the lower
part of their body for lifting subjacent loads. The load-containing receptacle
is moved up or down along the rack by means of handle turning. For retention of
the load-containing receptacle in a required position, the jack is equipped with
a brake assembly, which consists of a locking device and a ratchet installed on
the handle clutch. These jacks are equipped with handles in both their upper and
lower regions to allow for strapping during transportation.
