Plasma cutting set
UPR-51, UPR-1210, UPR-2010, APR-406 are multipurpose units.
They can be used for cutting any current-conducting materials: structural and
high-alloy steel, cast iron, hardened tool steel, aluminum alloys, copper and
titanium.
They are also designed for high-speed cutting. With small and medium
thicknesses, the speed of plasma cutting is 2-3 times greater than that of gas
cutting.
They provide an excellent cut quality and a vertical cut with almost
no burrs, with no additional machinery required.
Furthermore, no pretreatment
is required for separation cutting.
These units additionally allow for trouble-free
cutting of dirty, painted, galvanized and zinc-plated materials
with minimal
deformation of the cut metal.
- small material waste due to narrow cutting (the cutting width under
small and medium cutting currents is virtually the same as the electrode diameter);
- compressed air of up to 6 atm. is used as a plasma-forming gas, which makes
combining these sets with usual commercial airways and any type of compressors
possible.

PURM-180M
is designed for separation cutting of metals with a thickness of up to 56 mm.
This set can be operated in field conditions (including those in the far North)
under a temperature range of -30 to +40°C and a humidity of up to 80%. The
main technological feature of this set is its 100% engagement duration throughout
the entire thickness range.
PURM-400M is designed for separation
cutting of metals with a thickness of up to 100 mm. This set uses water in its
closed cooling cycle; therefore, it is mostly designed for indoor use under temperatures
ranging from +5 to +40° C and a humidity of up to 80%. The main technological
feature of this set is its 100% engagement duration throughout the entire thickness
range.
MPU-2U3 is designed for manual separation cutting of metals
with a thickness of up to 30 mm and for steel welding with direct currents ranging
form 200 to 300 A using standard 3 to 5 mm electrodes. This unit can be operated
in field conditions falling with the temperature range of -30 to +40°C. Depending
on the metal's thickness, one of three operating modes can be used (duration of
engagement = 60/25/10% respectively).
