KVTp Model Thermocontracting Terminal Cable Connectors for Indoor Use
TU36-2674-84 are designed for insulation of cable termination points in cables
with aluminium or copper conductors, with plastic or impregnated-paper insulation,
in aluminium or plastic sheath, with or without serving. They are for use for
alternating voltages of up to 1 kV that are used in circuits with insulated or
grounded neutral terminals.
Thermocontracting terminal connectors TU36-18.34.01-86
are designed for the termination of triple-core or quad-core power cables with
voltages ranging from 6 to 10 kV. They are for use in any rooms that meet the
requirements of GOST 15150-69.
The thermocontracting material of which the
connector is made is manufactured from thermoplastics using a special technology.
After radiation treatment, the material obtains new operating and technological
properties, the main one being its capability to contract in volume when warmed
up, all the while keeping its initial shape.
Thermocontracting articles provide
complete impermeability and high insulating properties. In addition, they have
a high mechanical strength and are resistant to chemical action and environmental
effect.
The thermocontracting terminal connector consists of a thermocontracting
glove, the inner surface of which is covered with a hot-melt adhesive, thermocontracting
tubes that insulate the terminated cable's conductors, and cable guards. The connector
set includes fittings for cold jointing of the earthing cable.
