Package kiosk-type transformer substations

These terminal and double-ended 400 and 630 kilovolt-ampere, 6 (10) kV transformer substations represent outdoor, single-transformer package substations that are designed for the intake of three-phase 50 Hz, 6 or 10 kV AC electrical energy, for its transit (double-ended type substations),for its transformation to 0.4 kV electric energy and for its supply to consumers in temperate climate districts (-40°C to +40°C). The transformer substations with an aerial inlet are connected to the power line by means of a disconnecting switch, which is installed on the nearest pole.

  The package transformer substations have the following features:

• Availability of natural ventilation in the transformer cabinet for the purpose of cooling the power transformer;
• The RUNN has two-sided maintenance
• A special device for wheeling the transformer in and out of the cabinet;
• Automatic drawout circuit breakers are installed on the outgoing lines.
