Package kiosk-type transformer substations

Package transformer substations represent outdoor, single-transformer substations that are designed for the intake of three-phase 50 Hz, 6 or 10 kV AC, for its transformation to 0.4 kV electrical energy and for its supply to consumers in temperate climate districts (-40°C to +40°C). These substations are available with either cable or aerial inlets and outlets in different combinations. When an aerial inlet is used, the transformer substation is connected to the power line by means of a disconnecting switch (supplied with the substation), which is installed on the nearest pole.

Stationary, automatic circuit breakers are installed on the package transformer substations' outgoing lines. The high-voltage fuse holders are installed inside the package transformer substation's cabinet. These substations keep record of the active electrical energy. These package transformer substations contain both electric and mechanical blocking devices that ensure the maintenance staff's safety. These package transformer substations also have an outdoor lighting feeder that turns on and off automatically. The system includes the necessary heating to create suitable operating conditions for low-voltage equipment.
